DA – Surya Shakti Services Private Limited finalizes the technology selection for their project SURYAVATH.  Mr. Athar Walile, the Technical Director confirmed that all major technologies will be used in this iconic 50Mw project which will include A-Si, Cdte & C-Si.

This was necessary to derisk the project as Crystalline technology is a proven technology with over 25 years of data.  Thin film technology like A-Si and Cdte have only 15 years of data and not completely proven, but at the same time Thin film is co-efficient with the temperature and will give maximum output.  This will be necessary to generate maximum returns and an earlier payback period will be achieved.
